For a Shake:
1. Empty contents of one packet into a large glass (10 ounces)
2. Add 8 ounces of cold water.
3. Stir thoroughly and serve.
For a Pudding
1. Empty contents of one packet into a small cup or bowl.
2. Add 4 ounces of cold water.
3. Mix thoroughly with a spoon until smooth and serve. Pudding thickens upon standing.

It isn't as sweet as I would like, or potent of a flavor you expect from pudding. Its not horrible though. I've never had it as a shake, but I like the pudding on top of the chocolate cake also offered here. It's like a lava cake that way!
